The Shadow Box

Author:
Michael Cristofer
Director:
Alo Kõrve

People don’t want to let go. They think it’s a mistake. They think it’s supposed to last forever…

We don’t know how much time have we got to live. We are never going to know that. But what if we actually could? Would we live somehow differently? What were the uncompleted actions and dreams that never came true – who is going to remember that? It is not important anymore. The most important thing is this moment, here and right now.
The Shadow Box tells a humane story about thirst for life. It is a second production created by Tallinn City Theatre’s actor Alo Kõrve.
Michael Cristofer is an American playwright, director and actor. His play The Shadow Box is the winner of Tony Award for Best Play (1977) and Pulitzer Prize for Drama (1977).
